If there’s one thing social media stardom has proven time and time again over the years, it’s that just because someone is popular online doesn’t mean they’re going to be popular elsewhere.
There have been a lot of famous people on the internet who found it difficult to have success in film and TV, but usually when someone is super famous in film and TV, or is a popular public figure, they can have some success on social media. Sasha Obama’s recent viral TikTok video is a perfect example.
Sasha Obama Lip-Syncs Moneybagg’s “Said Sum” Remix With City Girls
Sasha isn’t the one who uploaded the video to TikTok, her friend who’s TikTok username is @cakethatsmg uploaded the video and it didn’t take long for fans who saw it to do a double take and say, “Wait a minute, is that Sasha Obama?”
It most certainly looks like it’s Sasha Obama. She and her friend can be seen vibing to the song in the video and lip-syncing with plenty of vigor. While the video was popular on TikTok, it really blew up on Twitter.
Some fans even commented that if it really was Sasha in the video then the video wouldn’t be available online for much longer, especially considering that a big part of Sasha’s upper body was exposed in the video. Not long after the video was posted, it was confirmed to be Sasha and the video had been removed from TikTok.
Thay video wasn’t the only one to be deleted, there were several other video highlights that were also removed from TikTok. A Twitter user by the name of Auri stated, “they weren’t that bad” and if you take a look at all the video highlights, she wasn’t wrong. There’s definitely nothing out of the ordinary in the videos.
But many fans claim that it might have something to do with the fact that she’s the daughter of one of America’s most influential and well-known power couples and for being the former first daughter who’s been in the public eye for a very, very long time.
I thought I was tripping when I saw Sasha Obama in these but it’s definitely her, idk why they deleted them they weren’t that bad pic.twitter.com/lNVtSjwUzX

Is Going Viral Part Of Sasha’s Curriculum?
Sasha is only 19-years-old and is currently attending the University of Michigan as a sophomore, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic she is taking online classes. Jo word of yet whether or not going viral on social media was part of her curriculum.
Although her videos were quickly removed from TikTok, it turned out a lot of fans were into just how suped up she was in the videos.
I mean it’s hard to deny that Sasha isn’t enthusiastically attacking the dance moves, no matter what your thoughts are on TikTok dance crazes.
What’s your thoughts on this?
Is it a “bad look” for the former first daughter to be dancing online like that or does social media need to relax and let kids be kids?
