New year, and new changes for Jake Paul.
No stranger to surprising his fans with clickbait titles is the notorious YouTube personality and Team 10 founder, but his newest announcement may be his craziest one yet. Jake revealed that he is planning on selling his Calabasas mansion (aka the Team 10 house) for greener pastures after grappling with an arrest and an FBI raid in 2020.
Where will Jake Paul move?
Keep reading to find out what he shared in his “Goodbye California. A New Chapter” video.
Why Is Jake Paul Going To Move?
In a video he posted to his channel on Dec. 30, the 23-year-old influencer and amateur fighter declared his intention to begin a new chapter. Though “Goodbye California. A New Chapter” could easily have been a title to attract viewers (after all, the video reached No. 1 on the trending list on YouTube), the younger brother of Logan Paul is actually moving on to another state.
Jake began the video with, “This is probably one of the hardest decisions that I’ve ever had to make in my life.”

“It’s the end of an era, the start of a new one,” Jake said, before adding that it was a “tough decision” to sell his house and that he was thinking about it long and hard.
As for what the “new era” is for the internet star, he is prepared to truly pursue a future in fighting and boxing.
“The main reason for this is that I’m stepping into a new chapter of life. I am a legitimate pro fighter, and being in Los Angeles, there’s so many distractions,” Jake shared. “There’s so much going on, and it doesn’t really allow me to focus on training.”
Jake knows that he needs to live somewhere else where he will not be “attracted to the chaos” in order to become the “the best athlete” he can be.
But where is he going?
Where Will Jake Paul Move To?
The primary goal for Jake and for 2021 is to get on the road and become “one of the biggest prize fighters in the world.” While he trained with other YouTubers for his fights, Jake lived in other places for months on end. Jake spent four months living and training in Las Vegas for his bout with Nate Robinson.
Jake is set to pack his bags after six years of living in the golden state. But, he’s not yet sure about where he’s going to move.
“There’s already houses and things that we’re looking at in other places in the United States,” he said. “We’re not 100% sure yet.”
The content creator did not say which locations he is zeroing in on either, but he promised that in the homebuying process he would keep his fans updated.
Furthermore, he also mentioned whether or not he plans to continue his YouTube channel.
Is Jake Paul Walking Away From YouTube?
Jake’s not ready to stop vlogging, acting, or sharing his life on the internet, although he’s set to say goodbye to his home and the state he’s lived in for many years.
“I’m still going to be active with all of that stuff,” Jake said in the video. “I want to stay connected to you guys, obviously.”
Jake may be looking to the future, but he’s kind of emotional about closing the door (literally) to the digs of Calabasas that he’s been calling home for so long.
He explained in the video, “Some of the best times of my life have been at this house,” before going on to share a montage of his favorite moments at the home.
Jake may have lined up his next move, but he didn’t say if Team 10 was going to go on, or if they were still going to have a home base.
